It's my Birthday!
I don't wanna lie, I'm not actually writing this on my Birthday. But that's because on my Birthday, (today) I'm in Barcelona. So if you're reading this on the 11th, Feliz cumpleaños para mi. Today I am probably currently seeing some of the sights whilst wearing a cute dress and a straw hat, then going out for a delicious meal with the boyfriend in a lacey number. I betcha I get lucky too.
I have actually had one present already though. The boyfriend wanted to give me my present before we go. He got me..... a camera! Remember this post? Well it seems having a blog isn't just great for recording my thoughts and communicating with some great people, it also means my boyfriend knows exactly what to get me for my birthday. He didn't just get me a camera, he got me THE camera. The gorgeously beautiful X100.
He also got me this brown case for it, which has a removable top part to make it into a 'half case'. It is sooo gorgeous. I don't know how to use it yet, but I am gonna learn. I'm even thinking of taking a short photography course so I can get the best out of it. Don't worry, I'm not going to become one of those losers who goes around saying "I'm a photographer" just because I can point and click with my camera on auto settings. I know I know nothing. But hopefully my blog photos will get a bit more interesting from now on.
Also, I can look super cool, with my camera on, like this...
